Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Richmond Public School canteen is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They are always looking for volunteers to work. Please contact the shool to be put through to the canteen, if you can spare a few hours on these days to help our school community.
Download the canteen menu for Term 1 2019 (PDF 163KB) to view the food items and prices offered at our canteen. Parents can now use Flexischools to order and pay for canteen recess and lunch orders. For more information, download the canteen online ordering (PDF 177KB) guide.
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

In 2019, School Locker opened an onsite uniform shop located in the Old Hall. We encourage our school community to purchase all uniform needs from this store. The Uniform Shop's opening time is every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm – 4pm. Additional opening hours are available during Orientation Days for our new Kindergarten students and for our new Opportunity Class students. The Uniform Store is also open additional hours at the beginning of the new school year. Parents/caregivers can also access the online store. For information on our online store, download the School Locker online ordering guide.
Students can bank with the Commonwealth Bank each Thursday at morning assembly. Money is credited to the student's account electronically. School banking is a responsible way to encourage good savings habits from a young age. Children have the opportunity to watch their accounts growing on a weekly basis.
The school receives a donation of $5 for every new account opened. The parents do not have to be Commonwealth Bank customers in order for the child to open an account. The money received from the bank goes towards resources for the school. For more information please contact the office staff.
